I hadn't seen House in many years. It's an 80's horror-comedy that I had some fond memories for. I watched the excellent Monster Squad a while back and it wasn't mentioned in the extra features that the director had written this film, so it made me want to see it again.
There's a pretty funny performance by William Katt, some good make-up effects. But the film isn't scary in the least, and the last act revelation is pretty stupid. But it's some good mindless entertainment.
