This is why I love forgein films. The little I knew about the Berlin Wall coming down, was all from the American perspective. This film takes an interesting idea. A family living in East Germany, with a mom who loves the socialist party. She goes into a coma during the fall of the wall, and her son takes it upon himself to hide this fact from her once she comes to. You really get a good sense of what the people were going through during this huge moment in history.
The film is very well done; great photography and editing, with some good performances.
